Design Contest FAQ
The contest is open to individuals aged 18 and older from any country.
Post your design on Instagram, tag @80sBabiesClothing, and follow the contest guidelines.
Your design must include the brand name “80s Babies” or “80s Babies Clothing” prominently, the design must be in a monotone (one colour only) style. Designs should include and reflect elements from the 80s or 80s nostalgia.
Accepted file formats are PSD, AI, or a high-quality 300dpi PNG (minimum 1000 pixels wide).
The 80s Babies team will select the top 6 designs based on creativity, adherence to guidelines, and overall style.
Public voting takes place on our website, and each person can vote once every 24 hours. Keep reminding your friends, family and followers every day to vote for your design!
Yes, you can win as many times as your design makes it to the voting round, and you are voted in as the winner. When you win more than one time, your previously available limited time only garments will be made available again during the limited time release of the new winner. There is no limit to how many times you can win.
The winner gets a $1,000 CAD cash prize, a limited-edition print run of their design, and 10% of profits from sales during the 30-day release.
Payments for the cash prize and commission earnings will be made via PayPal or Wise. Payment preference and account details are collected when you are accepted into the voting round.
You must submit a high-quality, print-ready file to proceed to the voting round.
Yes, you can submit more than one design, but each must be a unique entry.
Yes, you can submit the same design next month, or in any future month, you must create a new submission post during the next contest round that you would like your design reconsidered during. Submitting the same design again has the benefit of being reconsidered among a new group of competitors, however it doesn’t provide you with any additional guarantee of winning.
By submitting your design, you waive ownership rights and grant 80s Babies Clothing full usage rights for promotional and commercial purposes.
Winners will be notified via Instagram DM and announced on our website and social media channels.

Return Policy Details
Return and Exchange Policy
At 80s Babies, we strive to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If you encounter any issues, please review our return and exchange policy below:
Claims for Misprinted/Damaged/Defective Items
Any claims for misprinted, damaged, or defective items must be submitted within 30 days after the product has been received. For packages lost in transit, claims must be submitted no later than 30 days after the estimated delivery date. Claims deemed an error on our part are covered at our expense. If you notice an issue with your product or order, please submit a problem report to our support team at info@80sbabiesclothing.ca.
Return Address
The default return address is the our facility. When a returned shipment is received, an automated email notification will be sent to you. (Please contact us for the return address)
Please note:
- Unclaimed returns are donated to charity after 30 days.
- If our default facility is not used as the return address, you will be liable for any returned shipments you receive.
Situations Requiring Attention
- Wrong Address
If an incorrect or insufficient address is provided by you or your customer, the shipment will be returned to our facility. You will be responsible for reshipment costs after confirming an updated address (if applicable). - Unclaimed Shipments
Unclaimed shipments are returned to our facility. You will be responsible for the cost of reshipping to yourself or your customer (if applicable). - Face Masks and Sealed Goods
Due to health and hygiene reasons, sealed goods, such as face masks, cannot be returned or reshipped. Such items will be disposed of upon return.
